Vintage Classic Halloween Cake

Get ready to pipe your way into spooky season with this vintage-inspired Halloween cake class! Students will learn how to decorate a bold orange and black cake like the one pictured—complete with classic jack-o’-lantern faces, piped swags, ruffles, shells, and gothic-style lettering. We’ll cover how to build height with layered piping, create smooth buttercream surfaces, and use black buttercream for dramatic detail without color bleeding. Students will also make and add glittered cherry toppers for that whimsical final touch. Whether you’re celebrating Halloween early or just love the retro vibes, this class is the perfect blend of spooky and sweet.
